Polyaluminium chloride

Polyaluminum chloride, abbreviated as PAC, is a new type of highly efficient inorganic polymer flocculant. It is a hydrolysis product between ALCL3 and AL (OH) 3, which undergoes bridging polymerization through hydroxyl groups. Its molecular formula is: [Al2(OH)nCl6-n·xH2o]m(m≤10,n=1~5)
Polyaluminum chloride is easily soluble in water and has strong bridging adsorption properties. During the hydrolysis process, physical and chemical changes such as electrochemistry, coagulation, adsorption, and precipitation occur. Polyaluminum chloride can sterilize, deodorize, decolorize, remove fluoride, iron, phenol, etc. The removal of radioactive pollution and organic pigments in water can achieve ideal results.

The characteristics of spray drying PAC depend on the operating principle of pressure spray. The aluminum chloride produced by the pressure spray drying process is a small porous particle or a small hollow particle, showing dust-proof and smoothness. Due to better contact with the water to be treated, its wettability and water treatment speed are stronger than other powdered products. Spray production not only dries polyaluminum chloride, but also turns it into tiny particles. Polyaluminum chloride is a water-soluble substance that exhibits good thermal stability and solubility. The 40-50% aluminum chloride solution is sucked into the high-pressure pump to form granular products through the drying spray. Dehydration and particle formation occur simultaneously during this production process.
The fundamental difference between polyaluminum chloride and traditional inorganic coagulants is that traditional inorganic coagulants are low molecular weight crystalline salts, while polyaluminum chloride's structure is composed of diverse carboxyl complexes with various forms. It has a fast flocculation and precipitation rate, a wide range of applicable pH values, and is non corrosive to pipeline equipment. It has a significant water purification effect and can effectively remove heavy metal ions such as color SS, COD, BOD, and arsenic * * * in water. This product is widely used in the fields of drinking water, industrial water, radioactive substances, highly toxic heavy metals containing lead (Pb++), chromium (Cr+++), and fluorine (F), as well as in the treatment of special water quality (such as oily wastewater, printing and dyeing paper wastewater, smelting wastewater, etc.). In addition, it has a wide range of applications in precision casting, papermaking, leather making, and other fields. The sentence is:.
Usage of Aluminum Chloride: Solid polyaluminum chloride is dissolved in water and stirred to form a 5-10% aqueous solution. It is then added to the source water through a water pipe. Depending on the turbidity of the source water, one batch of PAC can treat 100000-100000 tons of source water; When adding, a water test should be conducted based on the actual situation to select the optimal dosage for use.
